Innovative Support Australia is seeking a Finance and Payroll Officer to deliver a high-quality payroll service while supporting transactional finance and month-end accounting. You will collaborate with operational leaders and the senior leadership team to ensure accurate data and reporting in a dynamic disability services environment.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar payroll/finance position, with a qualification in Accounting or Finance.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services award and NDIS would be highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and Payroll Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, people-focused payroll service alongside a broader remit of transactional finance and month-end accounting. You will work closely with operational leaders and the senior leadership team to ensure accuracy in data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, professional, and timely payroll support to all employees

• Managing payroll adjustments, leave reconciliations, terminations, and related tasks
• Interpreting awards and agreements to ensure accurate pay outcomes
• Maintaining payroll systems and ensuring data integrity

• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Support month-end close through transaction processing, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with accrued expenses, prepayments, and the fixed asset register.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
