Job summary

Health Support Services in Western Australia is seeking a Finance Analyst on a fixed-term full-time basis for 6 months, with possible extensions. You will support financial planning, budgeting, analysis, reporting and cash flow forecasting with a focus on compliance and transparency.

You will also provide financial advice to senior management, engage with stakeholders including the Department of Health, and contribute to governance, controls and continuous improvement of financial systems and

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in development, delivery and maintenance of a broad range of financial services including analysis, financial management and reporting.
• Strong conceptual, analytical and research skills with strategic problem solving.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills across all levels.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes with a customer-first mindset.
• Solid knowledge of Financial Management Act, Treasurer's instructions and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, budgeting, analysis and reporting for operational activities.
• Assist in month-end and year-end processes, statutory reporting and cash flow forecasting.
