Job summary

The Victorian Government’s Department of Health is seeking a Financial Performance Analyst to support strategic financial investment in Victoria’s health system and to act as the interface between the Department and health services.

You will examine high-risk health service financial information, develop strategic reports, perform detailed analysis, and contribute to data integrity across systems. The role offers flexible work options within a health-focused public service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/Commerce.
• ICAA and/or CPA membership highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytics on health services financial performance.
• Prepare and present financial reports to executives and decision makers.
• Contribute to PAEC and PPQ briefings with financial input.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of health services performance against financial measures.
• Support development of presentations for internal committees and stakeholders.
