Linear Clinical Research in Western Australia is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our collaborative Finance team. You will partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights that support decision-making and improve business performance.

You will help with budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and develop reporting tools and dashboards. The role is ideal for an early-career finance professional keen to move beyond traditional reporting and grow commercially.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards completion).
• 1-3 years' experience in a finance, commercial analysis or business support role.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• The ability to translate complex financial information into clear and practical recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and analysing budgets, forecasts and financial models.
• Delivering weekly and monthly financial performance reporting.
• Monitoring revenue, labour costs, utilisation and profitability trends.
• Supporting business cases and evaluating commercial opportunities.
• Providing practical financial advice to operational leaders.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and financial visibility.
• Supporting strategic projects and business improvement initiatives.
• Developing reporting tools, dashboards and analytics that enhance decision-making.
