Job summary

Nissan Financial Services is seeking a Business Analyst – Finance to support the implementation of our Contract Management System and Wholesale Finance System. This role collaborates with Finance, Treasury and Tax, and external vendors to ensure financial requirements are reflected in the new systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and an ability to translate business needs into testable requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document and validate functional requirements for Finance, Treasury and Tax.

Business Analyst - Finance

Bring your finance expertise into one of Nissan Financial Services’ major transformation projects.

Nissan Financial Services is looking for a Business Analyst – Finance to play a key role in the implementation of our new Contract Management System (CMS) and Wholesale Finance System (WFS).

Reporting to the National Manager, Finance Accounting and Systems, you’ll work closely with Finance, Treasury, Tax, internal project teams and external system vendors to ensure our new systems accurately reflect financial requirements and processes.

This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and wants to build their experience across finance, systems and business transformation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Gather, document and validate functional requirements across Finance, Treasury and Tax
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Review financial calculations and ensure system functionality aligns with accounting requirements
• Work closely with Finance, project teams and system vendors throughout development
• Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from a Finance perspective
• Validate accounting flows between the new Contract Management System and SAP
• Document accounting and treasury process flows under the new systems
• Support data migration and reconcile contract-level data into SAP
• Identify process gaps, dependencies and potential impacts throughout implementation
• Participate in Agile delivery cycles, backlog refinement and sprint planning

What We’re Looking For

You’ll have a strong accounting foundation with an interest in how finance, technology and business processes come together.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• Around 3–5 years’ relevant experience
• Sound knowledge of accounting and financial concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to translate business needs into clear, concise and testable requirements
• Confidence engaging with Finance teams, business stakeholders, project teams and external vendors
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with financial data and calculations
• An ability to learn new financial and project management systems quickly
• Experience working in an Agile or project delivery environment will be highly regarded

Experience within financial services, finance systems, system implementation, UAT or transformation projects would be advantageous.
