Job summary

Westfill Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Underground Drill Fitter to join our maintenance team in Western Australia. You will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and perform servicing, troubleshooting, and major repairs on underground drill rigs and equipment.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years’ underground drilling maintenance, Sandvik knowledge (DD421, DL421, DL431, DD422i), and strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in underground drilling maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, troubleshooting, and major repairs on underground drill rigs and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to apprentices and tradespeople.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts usage.
• Work effectively in a team and contribute to a strong safety culture.
