Job summary

Greatland Resources Limited is seeking a Safety & Training Coordinator to provide expert safety, training and compliance support across site operations at the Telfer site. Reporting to the Superintendent - Health & Safety, you will oversee safety programs, incident management, and maintain compliance with legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety required.
• Experience in mining, resources or heavy industry safety/training.
• Current Western Australian C Class Driver's Licence.
• Strong knowledge of risk management and incident investigation methodologies (ICAM preferred).
• Experience with safety training coordination and competency management systems (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site safety improvement initiatives and health and safety management systems.
• Provide specialist WHS advice to leaders, employees and contractors.
• Facilitate safety audits, inspections and hazard management activities.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective-action management.
• Develop and maintain health and safety procedures per legislative and corporate requirements.
• Monitor statutory obligations and safe work practices.
• Analyze injury and safety data and report to management.
• Oversee site Safety Advisers and Trainers.
• Develop site-wide training and competency programs.
• Ensure induction and competency management systems are effective.
