Job summary

Greatland is seeking a Safety & Training Coordinator to deliver expert safety, training and compliance support across site operations. You will drive continuous improvement in workplace health, safety and training systems, oversee incident management, and coordinate high-quality training programs to support operational excellence.

The role is 8/6 FIFO from Perth, reporting to the Superintendent - Health & Safety, with responsibilities to develop site-wide training and ensure compliant practices

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety is required.
• Experience with incident investigations and ICAM is preferred.
• Experience in mining or heavy industry safety/training roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site safety improvement initiatives and safety management systems.
• Provide expert safety advice to leaders, employees and contractors.
• Facilitate safety audits, inspections and hazard management activities.
• Lead incident investigations, including ICAM-based processes and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain health and safety procedures in line with legislation.
• Oversee training programs and competency management for site staff.
• Ensure induction and training records are up to date and effective.
• Coordinate site-wide training and competency programs for operations.
