Job summary

Greatland Resources Limited seeks an Underground Mine Surveyor to join the Technical Services team at the Telfer Mine. The role requires accurate survey control, setting out for drilling, and maintaining mine plans to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will work on an 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth, with opportunities for technical growth in a safety‑driven environment. Advanced surveying qualifications and experience in underground operations are essential.

Qualifications

• Underground surveying experience required.
• Grade 1 Mine Surveyor's Certificate (WA DMIRS) desirable or working towards.
• Strong knowledge of WA mining legislation and regulations.
• Proficient with modern survey equipment (Leica Total Stations, CMS, scanners, drones).
• Skilled with Surpac and Deswik; strong spreadsheet and report-writing capabilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Maintain survey control for underground operations.
• Provide accurate set-outs for drilling activities, including production rings and exploration holes.
• Update and compile mine plans, survey memos, and as-built documentation.
• Conduct end-of-month surveys and volume calculations for headings and stopes.
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment for optimal performance.
