Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia is recruiting Poly Welders and Dewatering Technicians for ongoing work on Gold Mines in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. The roles involve HDPE welding, hydrotesting, trenching, and on-site earthworks, with a 2:1 FIFO roster and an immediate start.

Successful candidates will have poly welding tickets (Butt/Electrofusion within last 2 years), White Card, a current driver’s licence, and be able to pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
• Poly Welding tickets/certifications (Butt / Electrofusion in the last 2 years) - Essential.
• White Card.
• Police Clearance in last 12 months (or ability to obtain).
• Previous HDPE poly welding experience on mine or construction sites - Essential.
• Experience conducting HDPE hydrotesting.
• Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights - Essential.
• High Risk Work & Plant: Forklift (LF) licence, Telehandler ticket, or Integrated Tool (IT) loader experience.

Responsibilities

• Welding HDPE, Stringing pipe, and loading welding machines.
• Flushing and hydrotesting.
• Trenching and general earthworks.
• Reading and interpreting HDPE and civil construction drawings.
