Job summary

Flanco is a civil contractor servicing the mining and resources sector, with projects from Perth to Goldfields. They seek a FIFO Site Supervisor to lead Form-Reo-Pour builds on WA mine sites, including mills, crushers, concrete thickeners and stockyards, across above- and below-ground works.

Lead a 20-25 person crew, manage safety, schedule and budget, and drive quality on earthworks, concrete structures and formwork.

Qualifications

Leading hand/supervisory experience in civil construction (minimum 3 years).
Experience in detailed earthworks, formwork and concreting.
Ability to read, interpret and follow plans.
Trade background in formwork carpentry or concrete is advantageous.
Clean National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain.
Minimum Manual C Class Driver's License; HR license preferred but not essential.
White Card and willingness to undertake pre-employment medical and Lab Drug and Alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

Supervise a 20-25 person crew on site.
Main point of contact on site for the project; responsible for financial, schedule and safety performance of their area.
Ensure the provision of resources and support to enable the project to function efficiently and effectively.
Assist with the development and review of the project budget.
Utilise existing business unit resources to ensure environmental, tenement and mining-related approvals are completed in line with project requirements.
Drive accountability for safety and environmental management through the line management.
Regularly engage and provide detailed reporting through to the executive management team.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems and lead contingency plans.
