Job summary

Assetlink Village Services is seeking experienced chefs to join our FIFO/BIBO team across mining village operations. This full-time role, based ex-Perth with an 8 days on/6 days off roster, focuses on delivering quality meals in a high-volume remote kitchen while upholding HACCP and food safety standards.

Ideal candidates have trade-certified cookery qualifications, current police clearance, and pre-employment medical clearance. FIFO/remote site experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume catering or commercial kitchen operations.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe work practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality meals across breakfast, crib, dinner and dessert service.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Support kitchen operations in a high-volume remote environment.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety standards and site procedures.
• Assist with stock control, food storage, rotation and minimising waste.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and village teams to meet operational requirements.
• Contribute to a safe and positive workplace culture.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work across all shifts to support operations and village service delivery.
