Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Line Chef to support bulk catering operations at a mining accommodation village. The role involves collaborative work with Chefs and Dining Room staff, delivering buffet-style meals for large volumes and ensuring safe food handling and OH&S compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Cert III in Commercial Cookery with bulk catering experience and familiarity with rosters in remote locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
• Bulk catering experience.
• Experience in remote locations on roster arrangements (desirable).
• Experience with hygienic work practices and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs and Kitchen staff.
• Bulk buffet-style cooking for Breakfast and Crib Lunch, or Dinner and Desserts.
• Ensure OH&S compliance and safe food handling procedures.
• Minimise wastage and maintain high food hygiene standards.
• Support Head Chefs with team performance and development.
