Job summary

Sodexo is seeking experienced Chefs to join our regional Queensland teams on a 2:1 BIBO roster. Based from Cooma, NSW, you will prepare high-volume, nutritious meals for mining village residents in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates have bulk catering experience, are physically fit for long shifts (up to 11 hours), and hold a Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery. FIFO or remote-site experience is desirable, and a National Police Check may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens.
• You must be able to work long shifts (11 hours) and physically active.
• Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery is required or desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-volume, nutritious meals for mining village residents.
• Work 14 days on, 7 days off; 11-hour shifts.
