Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking casual chefs to join the relief pool serving Roxby Downs and Olympic Dam, with daily pay rate of $509.83 plus superannuation and allowances. FIFO or DIDO options from Adelaide and surrounds are available.

Prepare, cook, and serve meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residents and guests, maintain high hygiene standards, and adapt to different site kitchens. Abide by safety protocols and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• A minimum in Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Experience in fast-paced environments, ideally in remote site kitchens.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques.
• High-volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience.
• Provide updated national police clearance not more than three months.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening.

Join the relief pool of chefs on a casual pools, FIFO or DIDO to Roxby Downs and or Olympic Dam.

Roxby Downs is a mining town in outback South Australia and is often referred to as the most ‘modern town of the outback’! About 15km north is the mine site of Olympic Dam.

Olympic Dam is one of the world’s most significant deposits of copper, gold, silver, and uranium. BHP operates underground and surface operations including a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.
