Job summary

ESS is seeking a FIFO Casual Chef for the Northern Territory to prepare, cook and serve meals for residents and guests across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will work with a dedicated team and uphold high standards of hospitality in remote sites.

You will maintain food safety, interact with staff and guests, and contribute to specials with the Head Chef. FIFO rosters require adaptability and a professional approach to service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, buffet-style kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Ability to follow safe food handling procedures.
• Ability to maintain professional standards in a high-pressure kitchen.
• Pass pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance.
• Driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residents and guests.

FIFO Casual Chef - Northern Territory

• Fly-In/Out of Darwin.
• Earn great money while working with an amazing team.
• Typically, 7/7 roster working 12-hour days or
• 14/7 roster working 11-hour days.

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines, and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

The Position
