Job summary

KTrans is seeking an experienced Workplace Health & Safety Advisor to lead safety initiatives across our Western Australian operations, based in Welshpool. You will work with operational teams to maintain high safety standards, provide practical guidance, and train staff to embed a strong safety culture in all activities.

Reporting to the Head of WHS, you will investigate incidents, manage risk, and contribute to the development of the HSEQ system while collaborating with a wider safety-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
• Trainer & Assessor qualification is highly regarded.
• Experience with transport of bulk dangerous goods.
• Strong incident investigation and risk management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and communicate risks to operational teams.
• Promote safety through coaching and transparent communication.
• Investigate incidents, hazards and near misses; implement corrective actions.
• Conduct customer compliance inspections and consultations.
• Assist in ongoing development of the HSEQ Management System.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Champion the KTrans Pillars of Discipline, Loyalty, Accountability, Honesty, Pride.
