Complete Opening Systems Pty Ltd in Sunbury, VIC is seeking an experienced Industrial/commercial Roller Shutter, Automatic Door and Gate Technician for a full-time role. You will install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot roller shutters, automatic doors and gate systems at commercial and residential sites.

The position is field-based across local sites with strong emphasis on safety, quality workmanship and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a technician with Industrial/Commercial roller shutters, automatic doors and/or gate systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge relevant to opening systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical faults.
• Competency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Valid Australian driver's licence.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
• EWP, forklift licence advantageous.
• WWC check and Police check advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair industrial/commercial roller shutter systems (manual and motorised).
• Install, maintain and repair automatic door systems and operators for commercial and residential applications.
• Install, service and repair gate systems (sliding, swing and barrier).
• Diagnose faults and determine repair solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Respond to emergency service calls promptly.
• Provide technical advice on upgrades and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
• Ensure safety standards and building codes during work.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.
