Job summary

MAX, part of Tabcorp, is seeking a proactive technician to service, maintain and install wagering and gaming equipment across venues in Wollongong. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, manage schedules, and ensure accurate compliance records, delivering reliable service to venues and staff.

The role offers training and development, with a focus on growing technical expertise while adapting to varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Interest in electronics and problem-solving mindset.
• Prior experience servicing electronic equipment preferred but not required.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service with clear communication.
• Strong integrity, respect, and proactive attitude.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends/evenings.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required licences and a full driver’s license.

Your role

As part of our Technical Services Team in Wollongong,you will play a key role in ensuring our venues operate at their best.Your work will directly influence customer satisfaction and the integrity of our services. Day to day this means you will:

• Service, maintain and install wagering and gaming equipment across venues, clubs and pubs
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks to reduce downtime and disruptions
• Prioritise and manage work schedules to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
• Build strong relationships with venue staff through reliable service delivery

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone eager to learn, motivated to grow, and ready to make a difference. With our training program, you’ll gain the technical expertise you need - you don’t need previous experience with wagering and gaming equipment to excel in this in this role. Our comprehensive training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need. What matters most is your motivation to learn and a few key qualities:

• Some prior experience servicing electronic equipment through work or hobbies
