Job summary

MAX, part of Tabcorp, is seeking a motivated Technical Services Technician to service, maintain, and install wagering and gaming equipment across venues in Queensland. This on-site role is based in Eight Mile Plains and includes a hands-on training program.

You will perform preventative maintenance, manage schedules, and keep records for regulatory compliance while building strong relationships with venue staff through reliable service.

Qualifications

  • Motivated to learn with a training program; no prior wagering/equipment experience required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required licences and certifications.
  • Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

As part of our Technical Services Team in Eight Mile Plains, you will play a key role in ensuring our venues operate at their best. Your work will directly influence customer satisfaction and the integrity of our services. Day to day this means you will:

  • Service, maintain and install wagering and gaming equipment across venues, clubs and pubs
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks to reduce downtime and disruptions
  • Prioritise and manage work schedules to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
  • Build strong relationships with venue staff through reliable service delivery

  • Some prior experience servicing electronic equipment through work or hobbies
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with clear communication

  • Ability to adapt to varied schedules including weekends and evenings
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain required licences and certifications, and a full driver's license
