Job summary

Computer Cures seeks experienced onsite IT Technicians to support homes and small businesses across Melbourne. You will diagnose and resolve issues, install and configure networks and devices, and provide clear user guidance while maintaining thorough service notes.

You will work with Windows and macOS environments, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and communicate effectively with clients to ensure professional service delivery. Flexible engagement options are available.

Qualifications

• Experience providing on-site or field IT support to homes or small businesses.
• Proficient with Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices and ecosystems.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in plain language to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support to residential and small business clients across Melbourne.

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and customer-focused Onsite IT Technicians to join our expanding Melbourne team. This role involves providing hands-on technical support to homes and small businesses, delivering timely solutions while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service.

Computer Cures manages all client bookings, scheduling, and administration, allowing technicians to focus entirely on service delivery and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support to residential and small business clients across Melbourne
• Diagnose and resolve issues relating to:
• Internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, routers, printers, and email
• Windows and macOS systems
• Mobile devices, smart TVs, and streaming platforms
• Install, configure, and maintain:
• Network and Wi-Fi equipment
• Antivirus and data backup solutions
• Perform virus and malware removal and system optimization
• Deliver clear, easy-to-understand advice and user training
• Maintain accurate job documentation and service notes
• Communicate professionally with clients, including courtesy calls when arriving or delayed
• Uphold Computer Cures’ service standards and customer experience expectations

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in onsite or field-based IT support
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
• Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
• Solid understanding of hardware, software, and home/small business networking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, non-technical manner
