Job summary

Nextpower seeks a Technical Adviser to coordinate between the Project Manager and customers, delivering high-quality field service for NEXTracker products across Australia. You will support installation, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong technical knowledge in mechanical/electrical systems, excellent communication, and willingness to travel up to 100% of the time, including remote sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or field service roles preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of WHS and safety on construction sites.
• Physically able for field-based work and travel.
• Ability to read construction plans and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal and team safety on site and enforce WHS policies.
• Provide technical support to customers across Australia.
• Translate and interpret construction docs to support installation of products.
• Communicate effectively with PM, customer staff and QA teams.
• Support scheduling, reporting, and progress tracking on site.
• Coordinate commissioning and QA inspections with project team.
