Job summary

Nextpower seeks a Technical Adviser to coordinate between the Project Manager and customers, delivering on-site technical support for NEXTracker products across Australia. You will translate plans, maintain schedules, and drive high-quality field service while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

This role requires 5+ years in construction, strong WHS knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 100% to remote sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years construction industry experience, at least 2 at supervisory level.
• Good working understanding of Australian WHS regulations, especially regarding the construction industry.
• Construction industry induction (white card).
• Basic First Aid + CPR training (mandatory).
• Willingness to undergo health and drug/alcohol screening as required for Project site access.
• Extensive travel required – up to 100% field based.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems in heavy construction.
• Proficiency with construction tools and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure own safety and safety of others on site per WHS policies.
• Provide technical support to NEXTracker customers across Australia.
• Translate and interpret construction docs for installation of NEXTracker products.
• Coordinate with PM and Customer PM to maintain schedules and reports.
• Lead safety meetings and QA inspections and report deviations.
• Report and resolve product quality issues via NCR/RMA processes.
• Coordinate commissioning readiness with PM and Commissioning Manager.
• Guide customers on tool operation and maintenance; arrange training.
