Job summary

Nextpower Australia Pty Ltd seeks a Technical Adviser to coordinate between the Project Manager and customers, delivering on-site technical support for NEXTracker products across Australia. The TA will help optimize product delivery and ensure high-quality field service, fostering strong customer loyalty and safe on-site practices.

The role requires deep construction knowledge, WHS compliance, and the ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction with safety-focused work practices.
• Construction-industry induction (white card) completed.
• Basic First Aid + CPR training (mandatory).
• Excellent customer service and on-site communication.
• Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and live away from home.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance for self and others on site.
• Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers.
• Translate plans and manuals to support construction and installation.
• Maintain clear communication with PM, Customer PM, and site staff
• Develop construction schedule forecasts and daily progress reports
• Perform QA inspections and report deviations via NCR/DR procedures
• Coordinate commissioning readiness with PM and Commissioning Manager
• Guide and support field personnel on mechanical/electrical issues
• Advise customers on tool operation, maintenance and servicing
