Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Technical Adviser to coordinate between the Project Manager and customers, ensuring high-quality field installations and exceptional service. This role requires hands-on construction site work across Australia, with extensive travel and a strong emphasis on safety adherence, QA, and customer support.

Qualifications

• 5 Years construction industry experience, at least 2 at supervisory level.
• A good working understanding of Australian WHS regulations, especially regarding the construction industry.
• Construction-industry induction (white card).
• Basic First Aid + CPR training (mandatory).
• Proficient with general construction tools and techniques (laser levels, hand tools, air and pneumatic tools, torqueing, QA).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; MS Office proficiency; willingness to learn NEXTracker systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure own safety and safety of others on site, following WHS policies.
• Provide technical support across Australia to ensure best-in-class customer experience.
• Translate construction plans and documents to support installation of NEXTracker products.
• Support project schedule forecasting and daily site activity reporting.
• Conduct QA inspections of piling and tracker construction and report deviations.
• Liaise with Customer and PM to resolve product quality issues via NCR/RMA processes.
• Assist with commissioning readiness and coordinate commissioning with PM and Manager.
• Guide and support customers and subcontractors on tool operations, maintenance and training.
