Job summary

Western Power is seeking a capable supervisor to coordinate onsite work activities and lead teams delivering the distribution electricity network in WA. You will ensure safety, manage resources, and communicate with customers about planned works.

The role focuses on leading construction and maintenance tasks, upholding WHS standards, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• Valid WA C Class Drivers Licence.
• Construction industry white card.
• Basic Emergency Life Support (BELS).
• Demonstrated leadership in workplace relationships.
• Experience supervising on-site distribution networks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onsite work activities to construct and maintain the electricity network.
• Ensure safety practices and training are followed by all team members.
• Schedule resources and notify customers about planned power interruptions.
• Lead programmed construction and maintenance work for safe, reliable operations.
• Coordinate emergency response tasks within competency and training.
• Maintain open communication with team members and stakeholders to achieve objectives.
• Foster good customer relations while in the field with the public and stakeholders.
• Share knowledge and promote Western Power values within the team.
