Job summary

Konecranes in Sydney is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor - Port Solutions to lead crane service operations across key customer sites. This hands-on technical leadership role will oversee inspections, repairs, modernisations and troubleshooting across electrical and mechanical systems on a range of lifting equipment.

You will mentor technicians on site, manage field service projects, plan and quote major repairs, and ensure safety, reporting, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Qualification required.
• Strong crane or heavy equipment service experience.
• Proven fault-finding and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience leading or supervising small teams on projects.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support crane service operations across customer sites.
• Perform detailed inspections and oversee repairs and modernisation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults on diverse cranes.
• Provide emergency breakdown response and project planning.
• Mentor technicians on site and ensure safety reporting.
• Maintain accurate reporting and job documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, planners, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.
