Job summary

Tyree Transformers is seeking a Field Services Technician to join our team. The role covers assembly, testing, commissioning, maintenance and repair of Tyree products, with travel across Australia and occasional trips to Fiji and New Zealand.

You will bring an electrical licence, field-based project experience, and the ability to fault find and analyse results while prioritising safety, quality and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Current electrical licence.
• Experience in field-based projects.
• Understanding or experience in transformer servicing, refurbishment and installations.
• Ability to fault find and analyse outcomes/results.
• Strong planning and execution skills.
• Knowledge of site safety, quality and environmental requirements in construction.
• Leadership within a construction environment.

Responsibilities

About the role

Tyree’s Field Services play a pivotal role in the delivery and installation of Tyree products and due to ongoing growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a new technician to join the team. The role involves:

• Assembly, testing, commissioning, maintenance and repair services
• Travel (with continuous nights away) across Australia with possible international trips to Fiji and New Zealand.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• A current electrical licence
• Experience in field-based projects
• An understanding of or experience in transformer servicing, refurbishment and installations
• the ability to fault find and analyse outcomes / results
• strong planning and execution skills
• Knowledge and understanding of site safety, quality and environmental requirements in the construction industry.
• Leadership within a construction environment.
