Job summary

Onsite Rental Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, based at our branch on the client site RTAY. You will maintain Onsite assets across customer sites and work across a diverse range of equipment.

The role includes field servicing, diagnostic work, and high-quality customer service with on-site and workshop duties as needed. Onsite offers a competitive hourly rate, vehicle and tool allowances, and opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• Current driver’s licence is required.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication with a customer-service focus.
• Ability to work unsupervised on-site in the field.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical inspection, servicing and repairs across equipment in field and workshop.
• Log jobs in service module and complete paperwork daily.
• Monitor and record parts usage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

About the role

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, based at our branch located on our client site at RTAY.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the role isresponsible for maintaining Onsite assets on our customer sites.

Working across our diverse product range including access equipment, compaction, materials handling, power generation, lighting, excavation, earthmoving, pumps and more, your role will be to:

• Carry out mechanical inspection, servicing and repairs across our product range in field (and in workshop as required)
• Ensure jobs are logged in our service module and all paperwork is completed daily
• Monitor and record parts usage
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with our customers

Skills and experience

Along with a positive attitude & high regard for safety, our ideal candidate will have:

• Current driver's licence
• Sound diagnostic, fault finding and problem-solving skills
• Great communication skills with a strong customer service focus
• Ability to work unsupervised in field
• Ability to participate in on-call roster
