Job summary

Estuary Group in Australia is expanding its field servicing and sales team to support healthcare and retail equipment across New South Wales. The role blends hands-on maintenance with growth in product sales and key projects.

You will service and repair equipment at various retail locations, build relationships with hospitals, demonstrate products, and work with a company vehicle, laptop, and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and repair equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency servicing, inspections and repairs of Estuary Group equipment at various retail locations.
• Complete work according to allocated daily/weekly service schedule.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and replace components as needed.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance at retail locations.
• Identify hospitals and rehabilitation centres in Sydney area and build relationships with key personnel.
• Deliver product demonstrations and achieve sales revenue targets.
• Maintain service records via mobile system and document work performed.
• Manage parts inventory and basic tools with the work vehicle.

Field Service Technician & Sales Specialist

Estuary Group is a proudly Australian engineering and innovation company that designs and supports a range of unique equipment used by some of the country’s most recognised retailers and hospitals. With hundreds of units deployed across New South Wales, we are expanding our field servicing and sales team to keep our products in excellent working order.

This multi-faceted role offers a dynamic blend of technical support, growth, and operations by combining:

Retail Product Servicing: Executing hands-on maintenance to keep equipment performing at its best.

Healthcare Product Sales: Driving revenue and managing relationships within the medical sector.

Business Development & Projects: Identifying new growth opportunities and leading key initiatives.

Administration Tasks: Managing day-to-day documentation and administrative duties to support operations

Key responsibilities

Perform emergency servicing, inspections and repairs of Estuary Group equipment at various retail locations

Complete work according to an allocated daily and weekly service schedule

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and replace plug-and-play components as needed

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance servicing, inspections and repairs of Estuary Group equipment at various retail locations

Identify Hospitals & Rehabilitation Centres in Sydney area and build relationships with key personnel

Execute product presentation and demonstration plans for hospitals and achieve agreed sales revenue targets

Build knowledge and expertise within the healthcare industry with focus on hospital and age care facilities

Maintain accurate service records through mobile system, documenting work completed, parts replaced, issues identified and follow-up required

Manage parts inventory and basic tools provided with the work vehicle

About you

Practical/mechanical mindset - trade experience is welcome but not essential

Confidence with hand tools (spanners, drills, screwdrivers)

The ability to troubleshoot problems and follow technical instructions

The ability to work to a schedule and meet allocated service timeframes

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Full driver's licence and good driving record

Excellent relationship-building skills, sharp product knowledge

Fully maintained service vehicle (fuel, tools, parts included)

Company phone, laptop, uniform, and PPE

Ongoing support and training

Manage your allocated work independently within clear company procedures and schedules, with guidance and support from the team when needed
