Job summary

Insignia is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, configure and service customer hardware on site. You’ll travel to customer sites, diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance and keep detailed service records.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar field, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and a current Australian driver’s licence. A tool-of-trade vehicle and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in field service or similar role.
• Current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.
• Able to work independently at various customer sites and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure customer hardware and software on site.
• Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and software faults.
• Provide high level technical support and build strong customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
• Manage travel schedules and respond to service requests promptly.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Ensure all work complies with company procedures and safety rules.
