Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our dynamic and supportive team in the Sydney area. You will service, maintain, and repair scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers for major infrastructure projects, both above and below ground.

You will coordinate with manufacturers for complex breakdowns, perform regular servicing per specs, and manage on-site breakdowns with a 24/7 service approach. Training and career progression are provided in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Motor Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic or similar.
• Elevated Work Platform licence and High-Risk Work licence, EWPA Yellow Card or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, with familiarity with elevated work platforms and access hire equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable with computers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with manufacturers for complex breakdowns and parts replacements.
• Perform regular servicing of equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Address mechanical issues and site breakdowns as they arise.
• Provide exceptional customer support and troubleshooting over the phone.
• Attend and complete manufacturer and model-specific training.
• Manage on-site breakdowns with a 24/7 service approach.
• Maintain service records and logbook.
• Ensure all equipment operates safely and adheres to manufacturer and company standards.

Education
