Job summary

Crossmuller is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician / Electrician to support PLC, SCADA and industrial control systems across client sites in Sydney. You will fault-find, maintain and service systems, while contributing to commissioning and system improvements.

This role suits an Industrial Electrician moving into automation or an experienced Automation Technician seeking broader exposure and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• NSW Electrical Licence is required.
• Industrial electrical experience.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• PLC and SCADA experience highly regarded.
• Instrumentation and commissioning experience beneficial.
• Current Driver's Licence required.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician / Electrician, you'll support PLC, SCADA and industrial control systems across a variety of client sites throughout Sydney and surrounding areas.

You'll be responsible for fault finding, maintenance, servicing, commissioning and technical support, helping customers keep critical operations running safely and efficiently.

This role is ideal for an Industrial Electrician looking to move further into automation, or an experienced Automation Technician seeking greater variety and long‑term career growth.
