Job summary

Crossmuller is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician / Electrician to support PLC, SCADA and industrial control systems across client sites in Sydney. You will fault-find, maintain and service systems, while contributing to commissioning and system improvements.

This role suits an Industrial Electrician moving into automation or an experienced Automation Technician seeking broader exposure and long-term growth.

Qualifications

NSW Electrical Licence is required.
Industrial electrical experience.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
PLC and SCADA experience highly regarded.
Instrumentation and commissioning experience beneficial.
Current Driver's Licence required.

Responsibilities

Fault finding and maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
Service and support of PLC and SCADA systems.
Diagnose and resolve control system faults.
Support commissioning, upgrades and system improvements.
Respond to customer breakdowns and service requests.
Complete service reports and technical documentation.
Build strong relationships with customers and site teams.
