Job summary

Hyjien is seeking a practical Service Technician to join our Western Sydney team. The role alternates between workshop and customer-site work, diagnosing faults and servicing cleaning equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

No prior experience with our specific equipment is required—we provide full training. You will travel to regional and interstate sites, weekends or after-hours work may be required, and you’ll work in a small, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and ability to document service work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair pumps, valves, solenoids and cleaning equipment.
• Carry out workshop and onsite repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Liaise with customers about repairs, replacements and upgrades.
• Plan service appointments and manage workload efficiently.
• Complete service records including parts and labour; assist with warehouse tasks; travel to sites.
