Job summary

Astris PME is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to service assistive technology across Sydney metro, including homes and healthcare facilities. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, ensuring safety and client-focused outcomes.

The role involves travelling, administering maintenance tasks, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver reliable service with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical, mechanical, or field service role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Low-voltage electrical fault-finding experience highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Current Driver's Licence (essential).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service assistive technology equipment
• Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns and urgent repair requests
• Install accessories and manage spare parts
• Maintain accurate service records using CRM systems
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes
• Manage jobs from start to finish with strong attention to detail
