Job summary

Liebherr Australia Pty Ltd is seeking qualified Technicians to provide expert diagnostics, maintenance, repairs and component replacement on mining equipment across various sites in Australia. You will work under the Service Supervisor, with a focus on high safety and customer service standards.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with significant overtime, a tool of trade vehicle, phone, laptop and diagnostic software, plus access to national OEM training centres for upskilling.

Qualifications

• Applicable Mechanical or Auto Electrician trade qualification essential.
• Previous Liebherr Excavator, Truck or Dozer knowledge preferred but not essential.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical background.
• Current driver’s license (C class minimum).

Responsibilities

• Major component change out and repairs.
• New equipment assembly and commissioning.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Repair damaged or faulty components.
• Preventative maintenance, inspections and machine adjustments.
• Work as part of a safe, professional high performing team and guide customer excellence.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical support.

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will play a key role in keeping some of the industry’s most advanced mining equipment performing at its best by providing expert diagnostics, maintenance, repairs and component replacement.
