Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd in Mt Thorley, NSW is seeking a skilled tradesperson to provide electrical and mechanical servicing on heavy equipment. You will inspect, maintain, overhaul and test electrical/electronic systems, read drawings and specifications, and perform wiring modifications as needed.

Candidates should hold Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology and Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in large excavators or haul trucks plus high-risk licences as

Responsibilities

• Request required spare parts
• Operate workshop equipment
• Operation of relevant lifting equipment
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manuals
• Maintain, overhaul and test electrical/electronic equipment
• Lubrication of electrical equipment
• Diagnostic analysis on electrical systems
• Running adjustments to plant and equipment
• Repair Vehicle/Plant Electrical Components
• Perform modifications to wiring looms and electrical components
• Machine armatures and ream bushes to fit shafts
• Strip, clean, lubricate and paint repaired items

• Working at Heights certificate
