Job summary

Columbit is a dynamic supplier of meat and food processing equipment in Australia and New Zealand, seeking a Field Service Technician to commission and install equipment and provide after-sales service. You will liaise with customers, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure installations run smoothly and safely.

The role involves working on customer sites across Australia and New Zealand, fault-finding and repairs on production equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety

Qualifications

• Hold Electrical Licence and Drivers Licence.
• 3+ years’ experience working autonomously as a Field Service Technician/Engineer across various sites.
• Must have experience in working with food production equipment and/ processed meat/poultry industry.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be comfortable dealing with mechanical equipment, including fault-finding and repair.
• Problem-solving, solution focused approach.

Responsibilities

About the Role

The purpose of this position is to commission and install equipment sold by Columbit, liaising proactively with customer, supplier, and internal project team; and undertake after-sales service repairs, maintenance, and upgrades for customers. The Technician plays an important role in maintaining high quality customer and supplier relationships.
