Job summary

RCT Powered by Epiroc is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the team at Olympic Dam on a 14 days on / 14 days off roster. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.

You’ll install, service, troubleshoot and repair on-site, working closely with customers to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. You’ll diagnose issues, provide practical solutions and complete service reports while maintaining a strong safety mindset and professional on-site conduct.

Qualifications

• Background in electrical, electronics, low voltage or mechanical work.
• Experience in installation, servicing, troubleshooting or field repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A commitment to customer service and safety.
• Experience with RCT products is highly desirable.
• Mining or heavy industry experience preferred.

Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems and working with innovative technology?

RCT Powered by Epiroc is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team at Olympic Dam on a 14 days on / 14 days off roster.

This is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension based on business requirements. You’ll work directly with customers and RCT’s innovative mining technology, helping keep equipment and operations running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same. You’ll be hands-on supporting RCT products across installation, servicing, troubleshooting and repairs, while working closely with customers on site.

You’ll:

• Install, service, troubleshoot and repair RCT products
• Diagnose issues and provide practical, effective technical solutions
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and deliver quality outcomes
• Provide technical support during customer meetings and site activities
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation
• Maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment
• Work within company and site safety requirements

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a practical and solutions-focused technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll ideally have:

• A background in electrical, electronics, low voltage or mechanical work
• Experience in installation, servicing, troubleshooting or field repairs
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• The ability to remain calm and logical under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine commitment to customer service and safety
• Experience with RCT products and their applications is highly desirable

Experience within the mining or heavy industry environment will be highly regarded
