Job summary

RCT Powered by Epiroc is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the team at Olympic Dam on a 14 days on / 14 days off roster. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.

You’ll install, service, troubleshoot and repair on-site, working closely with customers to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. You’ll diagnose issues, provide practical solutions and complete service reports while maintaining a strong safety mindset and professional on-site conduct.

Qualifications

• Background in electrical, electronics, low voltage or mechanical work.
• Experience in installation, servicing, troubleshooting or field repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A commitment to customer service and safety.
• Experience with RCT products is highly desirable.
• Mining or heavy industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot and repair RCT products.
• Diagnose issues and provide practical, effective technical solutions.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and deliver quality outcomes.
• Provide technical support during customer meetings and site activities.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment.
• Work within company and site safety requirements.
