Job summary

Berendsen Fluid Power in Richlands, QLD, seeks a Field Service Technician to join our on-site team. You will troubleshoot, repair and install hydraulic systems at diverse customer sites, exercising autonomy while maintaining strong safety and service standards.

You’ll manage fault finding, diagnostics and reporting, with opportunities for welding and portable machining as required. A current driver’s licence and customer-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified (Fitter/Hydraulics or similar).
• Experience with hydraulic systems and cylinder repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Current driver’s licence and strong safety focus.
• Independent field worker with good communication and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to carry out hydraulic troubleshooting, repairs and installations.
• Perform breakdown maintenance on hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on hydraulic systems.
• Prepare strip and inspect reports with measurements and parts IDs.
• Carry out portable machining and welding as required.
• Test components and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Build strong relationships with customers through professional service.

Your Tasks
