Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Brisbane is seeking a Site Manager to oversee construction projects, reviewing design, planning, organizing, and controlling projects; ensuring quality inspections and supervising subcontractors and staff.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and effective on-site leadership, with travel across Queensland to coordinate with Consultants, Designers and clients. A strong background in engineering, design, and project management is essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, trade background.
• 10 years related industry experience in Brown field contracts doing retrofit and upgrade.
• Experience in Security or controls.
• Knowledge in Design Management, Project Management, Quality Management, Supervision, Managing schedule, managing sub-contractors.
• Highly proficient in all the key areas of onsite management.
• Construction/site supervision of Controls, Mechanical or Electrical personnel.
• Good team building skills and experience in leading and managing the day-to-day activities onsite.
• Professional and responsible with clients, employees, subcontractors and management.
• Experience in time and resource management, including HSE and sub-contractor management.
• Excellent verbal/written/presentation skills.
• Ability to work and prosper in a flexible dynamic team environment.
• Ability to travel around Queensland.

• Ensure to achieve the required construction result within the scope time, quality and schedule
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
• Review Honeywell Issue for construction documentation together with Consultants & Project Design documents for compliance with Specification, buildability and commission ability
• Security and access management onsite
