Field Service Specialist

Profectus is supporting a national capability that ensures the operational readiness and sustainment of cutting‑edge deployable ICT systems. As part of a focused delivery team, the Trainer and Field Service Representative (FSR) plays a critical role in enhancing system knowledge, delivering technical training, and directly supporting field personnel operating the deployed capability. The position bridges operational support and training, enabling effective use and troubleshooting of the platform in both barracks and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and update training packages to various technical audiences including ADF units and strategic support agencies.
• Provide onsite field services to end users, including system administrators and maintainers.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and escalation to higher‑level engineering teams when necessary.
• Support knowledge transfer via ad hoc and scheduled training sessions during field and in‑barracks support.
• Contribute to development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Business Level Instructions (BLIs), and other support documentation.
• Participate in feedback reviews, workshops, and discussions aimed at improving training delivery, including digital and curriculum‑embedded options.
• Assist with software upgrades and troubleshooting during deployment cycles.
• Provide timely on‑site support aligned with scheduled military exercises or training requirements.
