Job summary

Veolia Australia is seeking a Field Service Representative/Engineer to monitor plant parameters, troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance on Veolia dosing systems and instrumentation, and support the customer’s operations team.

You will collect samples, manage chemical inventories, maintain site logs, and contribute to performance monitoring through InSight and Veolia databases, while ensuring safety and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in the water treatment or similar industry.
• Ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Commitment to EHS and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess plant operational parameters and provide feedback to customers and Veolia management team.
• Collects micro’s and corrosion coupons for preparation, labelling and shipment to laboratory.
• Supply, installation and service of Veolia water quality and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain current supply of reagents, sampling containers and coupons.
• Monitors and records chemical usage rates, inventory and pump settings.
• Preventative maintenance on dosing pumps and inventory of critical spare parts.
• Maintenance of all labels; dosing lines and ensuring good housekeeping.
• Record and update all test parameters and chemical consumption into InSight® and Veolia database.
• Water sampling, analysis and interpretation of results.
• Assist with technical support and attend team meetings with Account/Area manager.
