Job summary

Philips is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the JP2060 Defence program in Australia. You will maintain patient monitoring equipment, defibrillators, ventilators, and anesthesia systems on-site at customer locations.

The role requires a degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering, 2+ years in medical equipment service engineering, strong IT skills, and willingness to travel across Australia. A valid AU driver’s license and security clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of customer-facing service engineering in medical equipment.
• Strong IT skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Valid Australian driver’s license; police and military clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on medical equipment.
• Conduct inspections of technical and non-technical systems.
• Provide engineering support to Philips customers on JP2060.
• Document service records, diagnostics, resolutions and tests.
• Lead on escalations and coordinate with stakeholders until closure.
