Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking an engineer to support medical imaging systems across modalities such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and nuclear medicine. You will travel to customer sites, perform preventive maintenance, and support installations, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and outcomes.

The role offers extensive hands-on training locally and internationally, mentorship, and opportunities to work across angiography, cath labs, X-ray and ultrasound

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites including hospitals and clinics for maintenance and service.
• Perform preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, corrective service and installations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely service delivery.

This role offers a unique blend of hands-on training locally in Australia and internationally, empowering you with knowledge and skills. We have a range of products across our Medical Imaging systems including but not limited to CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray and Nuclear medicine. This role will support a range of modalities and may involve working across our angiography, cath lab, X-Ray, and ultrasound systems.

A day in the life:

• Visiting customer sites which include public/private hospitals, private clinics.
• Performing preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, corrective service, and installations
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Maintaining and expanding your knowledge through continuous training, including self-learning, computer-based courses, mentorship and hands-on experience
• Adhering to all Environmental, Health & Safety policies

About you:

• The successful candidate will be trade qualified or university trained
• Currently hold a restricted electrical licence is preferrable or able to obtain
• Pride yourself on customer satisfaction and outcomes
• Available to work overtime, shiftwork, on-call and weekends when required.
• Able to travel across state, interstate and overseas.
• Be able to provide evidence of your permanent work rights in Australia.
