Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Australia is seeking a hands-on engineer with electrical or biomedical background to join our field service team. The role involves on-site visits to hospitals and clinics, preventive maintenance, updates, upgrades, and installations of imaging systems.

The position offers local and international travel, ongoing training and mentorship, and a clear path for career development within a global leader in medical technology.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be trade qualified or university trained.
• Currently hold a restricted electrical licence is preferrable or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customer sites which include public/private hospitals, private clinics.
• Performing preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, corrective service, and installations
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Maintaining and expanding your knowledge through continuous training, including self-learning, computer-based courses, mentorship and hands-on experience
• Adhering to all Environmental, Health & Safety policies

A day in the life:

Visiting customer sites which include public/private hospitals, private clinics.

About you:

The successful candidate will be trade qualified or university trained

Currently hold a restricted electrical licence is preferrable or able to obtain

Pride yourself on customer satisfaction and outcomes

Available to work overtime, shiftwork (between 7am-7pm) and weekends when required.

Able to travel across state, interstate and overseas.
