Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Melbourne is seeking a technically skilled Biomedical/Electrical service professional to support medical imaging systems across hospitals and clinics. You will travel locally and internationally to perform preventive maintenance, updates, upgrades, installations, and corrective service on CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray and Nuclear medicine equipment.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be trade qualified or university trained.
• Currently hold a restricted electrical licence is preferrable or able to obtain.
• Pride yourself on customer satisfaction and outcomes.
• Available to work overtime, shiftwork, on-call and weekends when required.
• Able to travel across state, interstate and overseas.
• Be able to provide evidence of your permanent work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customer sites which include public/private hospitals, private clinics.
• Performing preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, corrective service, and installations
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Maintaining and expanding your knowledge through continuous training, including self-learning, computer-based courses, mentorship and hands-on experience
• Adhering to all Environmental, Health & Safety policies

This role offers a unique blend of hands-on training locally in Australia and internationally, empowering you with knowledge and skills. We have a range of products across our Medical Imaging systems including but not limited to CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray and Nuclear medicine. This role will support a range of modalities and may involve working across our angiography, cath lab, X-ray, and ultrasound systems.

A day in the life:
