Job summary

Doherty Couplers & Attachments Ltd in Bankstown NSW is seeking a technically sharp Field Service & Assembly Technician to support NSW/ACT customers with installation, commissioning, and warranty resolution on our hydraulic attachments.

You’ll manage your own schedule, travel your territory, and work from our new Bankstown facility with a small, hands-on team. The role blends field service with workshop assembly and paint finishing to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in hydraulics or mechanical fitting or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3+ years in field service, plant maintenance, or equipment installation.
• Strong hydraulic troubleshooting capability and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Field service: installation, commissioning, and initial operation across NSW/ACT.
• Diagnose and resolve hydraulic/mechanical faults in the field.
• Manage warranty investigations and coordinate replacement parts.
• Build relationships with NSW customers and represent the brand professionally.
